The idea for this project was to play with very fashionable at the moment 'colour blocking' shifting focus onto the dining area with focal light as well as small accent colour displaying pendant light above the custom made bookshelf.
The existing kitchen got a 'facelift' by replacing RVS hood with a sleek rectangular block. I have placed LED lighting under wall units and went for a pop of colour with sea-blue tiles.
In the living space, the TV area has been placed on a navy blue colour block. It's a smart way to make your speakers disappear and shift your eye focus on something more interesting in the room.
As you can see, the cleverly chosen artwork picks up all the colours in the room.
In the dining area, we kept this beautifully crafted table and added statement piece lighting. Looks great with the addition of cognac leather chairs!
I played with blocking over the table and wrapped the ceiling and the wall in the yellow shade to create a kids corner.
Extra shelving above the storage chest is a great touch to display daily creations by my clients little one ♡
